From Tuesday, September 17 – Friday, September 20, 2013, the Niagara Children’s Water will be held at the Balls Falls Conservation Area. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about the importance of water through a wide variety of interactive activities.
Although fully booked for this year, the Niagara Children’s Water Festival website offers information for Kids as well as Teachers. Organizers of the water festival encourage teachers to Pre-Register for the 2014 event.
The festival is also a valuable volunteering opportunity for citizens wishing to assist in the event, high school students interested in geography or environmental sciences and for high school eco-clubs. The high school volunteer form can be accessed here while the general volunteer form can be accessed here.
