I am confidant that this spotlight will be the first of many for individuals and businesses who are utilizing geo-technologies or information. Niagara can do it!
Jonathan Fletcher has been a geography teacher at Port Colborne High School since 2006 and is now head of geography at the school, serves as one of two Niagara-Hamilton representatives for OAGEE and is Vice President of Communications of OAGEE.
The link below is to an article written by Angela Alexander of the ESRI Canada Education and Research team. The article describes the challenges that Jonathan faced in creating a GIS lab for his school but also illustrates the tenacity he has in fulfilling his vision. One Niagara school down, only 177 to go!
Congratulations Jonathan!
